I typically try not to post recipes that require a specific product, but then I loved these too much not to share! I’m always looking for quick, healthy snacks and I love that these have a dose of veggies in them too (besides smoothies, I don’t love raw veggies unless it’s a salad so I stick with roasted, smoothies or sticking them in other things 😊
Also, if you like green drinks, I mean the kind of grassy kind, you’ll love these. That being said, if you don’t like as much the grassier greens taste, these prob won’t be your favorite. I LOVE them, but Dal and LO do not, so def consider tastes before 😉
This recipe is from Your Super using the Super Green mix. I add it to this smoothie recipe and others. I love it as a way to get some extra greens. I also love them as a company. It’s all organic, no fillers, stevia, or other sweeteners (besides fruit), and great ingredients! They test for heavy metals, are super picky and transparent about sourcing and ingredients. They explain it more here. Anyway, also have their Mellow Yellow, Magic Mushroom (not psychedelic mushrooms, but functional mushrooms 😂), and a few others, but those are my favorites! This isn’t sponsored, just love them! That being said, these are not the only way to be healthy or get all your greens and if they are not in the budget, you have plenty of ways to get your needed greens from fresh veggies!
Recipe Notes:
- The only change I made is adding a bit of raw honey to taste. After making, taste it and start with one tablespoon raw honey and add until it meets your taste preferences (I prob did abt 1 tablespoon).
