Today, I’m sharing our top 3 favorite carrot cake recipes! There’s something for everyone! They can all be made refined-sugar free, dairy-free, and are of course, gluten-free!
- This is still traditional carrot cake flavors and is so light and delicate and just falls apart in your mouth (in a good way). The ingredients and method are simple and has an awesome probiotic cream cheese frosting.
- This one is a more traditional carrot cake- it’s dense (not too dense) and just all around awesome. My mom requests this cake every year for her bday!
Gluten Free Paleo Eats Carrot Cake (Sweet Potato Carrot Cake)
- This cake is more unique. I would say it is more the texture of pumpkin pie- it doesn’t taste like pumpkin, but in my opinion is not a cake-like texture but is so delicious! I also made it into a sheet cake, but it’s actually a layer cake. The frosting and cake are both made with sweet potatoes even my husband who hates sweet potatoes thought it was delicious! It has a lemon frosting which I could eat plain and even used to frost some carrot muffins for a treat!
