My awesome cousin introduced me to Mel’s Kitchen Cafe and this recipe and it’s since become a staple! These cookie dough bites taste alarmingly similar to cookie dough without the raw egg risk or all the sugar. They’re gf (as always), dairy-free, vegan, and peanut free! They’re made with oats, cashews, maple syrup, etc. We love them! I especially love that they take roughly 10 min to make and are a great dessert or perfect snack when you’re in a rush! Note that they do have refined sugar if you choose to use chocolate chips.
Though I do mainly steer clear of refined sugar, when I have a recipe where traditional chocolate chips would taste great, I love Enjoy Life brand since the ingredients are simple and they are dairy-free. I was fine with the chocolate chips in it, due to the ratio and that I typically only eat 1-2 of these, but if you would prefer refined sugar-free, try the Sweet Laurel recipe. I have not tried those choc chips in this recipe (but will soon!), but I’d assume it would taste great! Just make sure to get the chocolate chips to a miniature size.
I made no modifications to this recipe. Find it here. Enjoy!
