- These cinnamon rolls courtesy of Minimalist Baker are phenomenal and while not as fluffy as gluten-filled ones they are flaky and even my gluten-eating husband loves them!
- Reciple Notes:
- They call for a homemade gf flour blend but I always use this one instead. I get it at Costco for a great price, but you can also get it on Amazon and many other places. I talk more abt it here.
- I use this recipe for frosting. If you’re not dairy-free, you can use normal cream cheese and butter and it turns out great! Instead of powdered sugar, I use 100% pure maple syrup to taste
- While we try to steer clear of refined sugar, we also believe in balance and not panicking abt eating certain foods, so this falls within our 10% 😉 If you would like to keep this refined sugar-free, you could sub coconut sugar for brown sugar. I have not tried this in this recipe, but have tried it in similar ones and it’s amazing. If this does not appeal to you, you could sub the filling for the pullaway bread (I always want to eat it plain! It’s so good!)
- Lastly, if you are like I was and cinnamon rolls intimidate you, don’t be! These really are so easy and Minimalist Baker (who the recipe is from) does such a great job of walking you through it! Enjoy!
