- We skip the pecans in the filling but do the ones indicated in the recipe for the syrup
- Coconut butter you can buy or make cheaper here
- This has no refined sugar, yeast, eggs, dairy, or gluten!
- If you are not dairy-free, you can just use plain whole milk yogurt in place of the coconut yogurt and it works perfectly
- These are somewhat time-consuming, but very easy and delicious- enjoy!
- I like to prepare these ahead of time and cover tightly and freeze them then bake at 400 for 30-40 min. Cook the sauce while these are baking.
