As someone with a sensitivity to both dairy and coconut, I successfully eliminated any form of whipped cream I could have. Determined not to lose a delicious addition to dessert, I decided to look for alternative forms using cashew milk and I found this recipe and loved it!
Let me start out by saying this is delicious and I use it in place of whipped cream, but it definitely doesn’t taste like whipped cream. It’s just a creamy delicious topping. It’s more dense and thick than whipped cream and is sweet and has a slight zing (similar to cream cheese).
