I made this cake over Labor Day and it was a big hit! It’s of course from Sweet Laurel and amazing! Gluten free, dairy free, vegan, and refined sugar free!
Recipe Notes:
- I topped with homemade chocolate chips (recipe here) because 100% cacao is too bitter for me
- you can use normal whipped cream (heavy whipping cream whipped with pure maple syrup) if you’re not dairy free
- if you are using coconut whipped cream, make sure to put your coconut milk in the fridge freezer the night before
- I have not tried flax eggs in this, but assume they’d work. If you do use them, bake 10-15 min longer
