This granola is AMAZING!! I love to always have granola on hand and this is one in our regular rotation! The recipe is from Minimalist Baker here.
Recipe Notes:
- I used coconut sugar instead of cane sugar
- I used Hu Chocolate gems to keep it refined sugar free
- Don’t stir while cooking for clumpy granola!
- As soon as it’s out of the oven, I spread the chocolate while it’s hot so it melts. Once it starts to melt, you can stir to spread the chocolate around more!
- A tiny bit of flaky salt on top is also great- just taste first to make sure you’re not over salting it!
- I highly recommend organic oats, since conventional oats typically are sprayed with glyphosate. Some organic brands may have residue as well even if they aren’t sprayed on them, but it’s less common. Even better if a company tests for it. More on it here.
